Alouettes Acquire Quarterback Johnny Manziel

Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes announced on Sunday that the club has acquired Hamilton Tiger-Cats' quarterback Johnny Manziel, as well as offensive linemen Tony Washington (I) and Landon Rice (N). In return, the Tiger-Cats receive the Alouettes' first draft picks in 2020 and 2022, defensive lineman Jamaal Westerman and receiver Chris Williams. O'Neill Blasts Three Home Runs in Win

MEMPHIS, Tennessee - Tyler O'Neill crushed three home runs in the Memphis Redbirds (64-37) 7-4 win over the Colorado Springs Sky Sox (Brewers), Sunday afternoon at AutoZone Park. Memphis finished the season 11-5 against the Sky Sox. O'Neill launched home runs in the first, third, and seventh innings in the win. In the first, Luke Voit hit a home run with one out, his eighth, before O'Neill followed suit with his 21st blast of the season. COLUMBIA, SC - Luc Rennie labeled his outing on Sunday against Augusta as the best of his seven-year professional career. The right-hander struck out 14 hitters - a new Fireflies single-game franchise record - over seven shut-out innings and led Columbia to a 2-1 victory over the GreenJackets at Spirit Communications Park. The previous single game mark for strikeouts in a game was 12 (held by Jordan Humphreys and Chris Viall). Stripers Walk off Again on Ruiz Single in 10th

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Gwinnett Stripers made it back-to-back walk-off wins against the Pawtucket Red Sox with Rio Ruiz's game-winning single in the 10th inning delivering a 4-3 victory Sunday at Coolray Field. The win was Gwinnett's eighth in its last nine games, and its 12th in the last 15. Gwinnett has also swept consecutive three-game series against Pawtucket at Coolray Field since 2017.
