Omaha Supernovas Sign Former Five-Time All-American Stephanie Samedy

OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha Supernovas have announced the addition of former Minnesota superstar and five-time All-American Stephanie Samedy to its roster. Brandon Hawkins Named ECHL Most Valuable Player

(Toledo, OH) - Toledo Walleye forward Brandon Hawkins has been named the Warrior Hockey ECHL League MVP for the 2023-2024 season. The native of Macomb, Michigan led the ECHL this season with 40 goals, 93 points, and 34 power play points, and tied for the league-lead with 15 power play goals. His 346 shots also led the league, and he finished sixth in assists (54) and 10th in game-winning goals (six). Cleveland Guardians Sam Hentges to Rehab Friday at Canal Park

(AKRON, OHIO) - Cleveland Guardians pitcher Sam Hentges is scheduled to pitch in a rehab assignment with the Akron RubberDucks in Friday's 7:05 p.m. game against the Erie SeaWolves at Canal Park. Hentges is appearing in his first rehab game since being placed on the 15-day injured list retroactive to March 25 with left middle finger inflammation. A member of the 2019 Akron RubberDucks, Hentges has pitched in 143 career games with Cleveland going 7-8 with a 4.33 ERA, one save and 196 strikeouts over 183.0 innings pitched. Jack Leiter Makes MLB Debut

FRISCO, Texas - Former Frisco RoughRiders pitcher Jack Leiter made his MLB debut with the Texas Rangers on Thursday, April 18th in their game against the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park. Leiter started the game for the Rangers, cruising through the opening frame while striking out Kerry Carpenter, marking his first punchout in the bigs. He ran into some trouble in the second inning, but bounced back in the third before exiting in the fourth.
