IL Durham Bulls Durham, NC - Tristan Peters singled home the game's only run in the fifth inning as Durham defeated Memphis 1-0 at the DBAP on Tuesday night. Peters one-out hit against Memphis' Gordon Graceffo (L, 4-4) scored Rene Pinto from third to give the Bulls (19-27) a 1-0 led. In the seventh inning, Peters made a spectacular diving catch in left-center field to rob Jose Fermin of extra bases. EL Erie SeaWolves Erie (23-15) opened the series with Altoona (10-30) with a blowout victory as the SeaWolves won 11-1. Erie started the scoring early against Altoona starter Po-Yu Chen. With two runners on and two out, Trei Cruz drilled a double off the fence in left field to plate both. Chris Meyers followed with an RBI single to extend Erie's lead to 3-0. CarL Columbia Fireflies Columbia, SC - The Fireflies rallied from down 4-0 to win 6-5 over the Delmarva Shorebirds Tuesday afternoon against the Delmarva Shorebirds at Perdue Field. Columbia (20-18) pounced on Delmarva's (13-26) bullpen after Michael Forret offered five scoreless frames to start the game. Down 5-0, the rally started small, with a Derlin Figueroa single that plated Brennon McNair to cut the Shorebird's lead to 4-1 in the top of the sixth inning.
