Suns and Diamond Jaxx to square off for league title

Jacksonville, FLA - The Jacksonville Suns will host games one and two of the 2005 Southern League Championship Series at the Baseball Grounds on Tuesday, September 13 and Wednesday, September 14, taking on the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx for the league title.
The Suns advanced to the Championship Series by virtue of a 3-0 series sweep over the Birmingham Barons in the South Division Playoff. The Diamond Jaxx also swept their foe in the North Division Playoff, winning all three games over the Carolina Mudcats.
Both Tuesday and Wednesday's games will start at 7:05. On Wednesday night, Hall of Famer Rollie Fingers will be in attendance in conjunction with the BC Headache Powder Fast Reliever Challenge, where a fan will have the chance to throw a pitch for one million dollars.
Following Wednesday's game, the teams will have Thursday off for travel to Jackson, Tennessee, where games three, four and five (four and five if necessary) at the Diamond Jaxx's home field, Pringles Park.
