After combining for 11 goals in last night's game, Patrice Cormier recorded tonight's first tally 1:58 into the third, giving St. John's the 1-0 lead. Less than four minutes later, Binghamton responded to tie the game 1-1 when Carter Camper put home his first goal in a B-Sens uniform at 5:48 of the frame.

Patrick Mullen gave Binghamton its first lead of the contest when he took a feed from Darren Kramer and blasted it past the IceCaps Peter Budaj with just over 10 minutes to play in regulation.

Carl Klingberg forced the overtime period for St. John's when he converted a feed from Chase Balisy with 5 minutes remaining in the third.

The first stoppage of play came at 2:31 of the overtime period forcing each team to go three-on-three for the remainder of the extra frame. Hammond made a save with less than one minute remaining in overtime and sent a pass to a streaking Matt Puempel up ice. Puempel skated past the IceCaps lone defender before dishing the puck back to a trailing Wideman who went top-shelf on Budaj for his second of the year.

Hammond, who was less than 24 hours removed after allowing every goal in a 6-5 loss to the IceCaps, stopped 40 of 42 shots faced for his second win of the season. Budaj made 33 saves in the losing effort.

Binghamton travels home tomorrow where they host the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Saturday, October 25, for a 7:05p.m. matchup.
