Red Claws' Scott Morrison Named Head Coach at NBA D-League All-Star Game

PORTLAND - January 26, 2015 - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, will be represented at the 2015 NBA Development League All-Star Game as head coach Scott Morrison and the Red Claws coaching staff will lead the Futures team on Feb. 15 at Barclays center in Brooklyn. Bakersfield coach Nate Bjorkgren and his staff will coach the Prospects team.
Both coaches were named to the All-Star festivities by owning the best records in their respective conferences. Maine is off to a franchise-best 17-8 start.
The ninth annual NBA D-League All-Star Game will be a part of the NBA All-Star 2015 lineup on Sunday, Feb. 15, at 2:30 p.m. ET. The Prospects and Futures teams, made up of 20 top NBA D-League players, will take to the court at Barclays Center in Brooklyn in a game slated to air live on NBA TV.
The Red Claws return to action Friday night in Canton before returning home Saturday night, Jan. 31. It is a 7 p.m. tip against Fort Wayne.
