Booser Gets to the Show
April 19, 2024 - Left-hander Cam Booser has become the latest one-time Lancaster Stormer to reach the Major Leagues. He is the 15th to advance from Prince Street to the big leagues over the franchise's history. Booser, 31, was promoted to the Boston Red Sox earlier today after a blazing start with Class AAA Worcester. The native of Washington State had allowed only four baserunners while striking out 15 in his first 6 2/3 innings of the season. He was 4-3 with one save and a 4.99 ERA with the WooSox in 2023. Ducks No-Hit Dogecoin in Spring Training Opener
April 19, 2024 - (Central Islip, N.Y.) - The Long Island Ducks shut out the California Dogecoin 14-0 in a combined no-hitter on Friday afternoon in the opening game of spring training at Fairfield Properties Ballpark. A seven-run second inning gave the Ducks an early 7-0 lead. RBI doubles by Tyler Dearden and Rixon Wingrove, an RBI single by Ivan Castillo and a two-run double by Frank Schwindel highlighted the frame. April 19, 2024 - Trace Loehr and Christian Sepulveda provided all of the offense on Friday afternoon as the Lancaster Stormers and York Revolution played to a 3-3 tie in an exhibition game at Clipper Magazine Stadium. Lancaster is now 0-1-2 on its spring schedule. Loehr broke a scoreless deadlock in the bottom of the fifth with a bases loaded grounder to short on which the Revolution defense was unable to turn two. April 18, 2024 - Kyle Hess (Donegal) and Nick Lucky (Cocalico) produced key RBI in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Lancaster Stormers fought to a 5-5 tie with the Black Sox Thursday afternoon in the first of five straight home exhibition games at Clipper Magazine Stadium.
