Alexis Morin Wins Marcel-Robert Trophy

April 24, 2024 - Boucherville, QC - The QMJHL is proud to announce that Alexis Morin of the Chicoutimi Saguenéens has won the Marcel-Robert Trophy as the scholastic player of the year. Morin recently completed his CÉGEP diploma in science with an average of close to 95%. All this while having had to adapt to two CÉGEPs: Drummondville and Chicoutimi, as he moved from the Voltigeurs to the Saguenéens in January 2023. Scouting Season Culmination

April 24, 2024 - The action on the ice is over for the season for the Mooseheads but it's an entirely different story off the ice for General Manager Cam Russell and the scouting staff. The full court press is on to scour for talent ahead of both the QMJHL Entry Draft and the CHL Import Draft. Félix Gagnon Wins the Guy-Carbonneau Trophy

April 23, 2024 - Boucherville, QC - The QMJHL is proud to announce that Félix Gagnon of the Baie-Comeau Drakkar has won the Guy-Carbonneau Trophy as the league's top defensive forward. In his fourth season with Baie-Comeau, Gagnon was used by head coach Jean-François Grégoire in a variety of ways. A trusted man during shorthanded situations, he led the league with four assists in such circumstances. He also finished first in the league with a 64% efficiency in the face-off circle, winning 882 (2nd) of his 1,378 duels (3rd).... Full Story

QMJHL announces finalists for Marcel-Robert Trophy

April 23, 2024 - Boucherville, QC - The QMJHL continues its virtual presentation of the Golden Pucks with the finalists for the Marcel-Robert Trophy, awarded to the scholastic player of the year. The finalists are : Alexis Bonefon, forward, Shawinigan Cataractes A student in natural sciences at Cégep de Shawinigan, Bonefon maintained a 90% average this year and an impressive R rating of 34.
